Welcome to The Crafty Mother! I'm Holly and I'm a mum of two little ones. I love making things, so I'll be sharing all my makes with you and all the wonderful crafty things I come across in the process.
At the moment, my favourite things are quilting and embroidery. I'm getting all creative with my needle and thread. My husband likes to call it "Urban Embroidery", but at the moment it's more like "Suburban Embroidery"! But it's all good fun!

My Mother's Day Gift - A Beautiful Butterfly!

I don't think there's anything better than a handmade gift and this butterfly is a perfect gift for Mummy on her special day!

I found the pattern in the March issue of Cross Stitcher and changed the colours slightly to suit the style of the material on the back of the cushion.

I love my hearts!
